Anthurium Regale is one of the most stunning and sought-after species in the Araceae family, known for its massive, velvety leaves and striking white veins. It is native to the rainforests of Peru, where it grows as an epiphytic or terrestrial plant in humid, shaded environments.
The species was first described in the mid-19th century and quickly gained attention among collectors and botanists due to its regal appearance — which is reflected in its name "regale," meaning royal in Latin. Its broad, heart-shaped foliage can grow impressively large, often exceeding 90 cm (3 feet) in length under optimal conditions.
